Worshipper, Psalmist, Missionary, Educator and Virtuous Servant are some of the characteristics of this dynamic woman of God. First Lady Michele Howard was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Born the eighth child, she is the baby of the Late Deacon Lennis and Mother Dorothy McDuffie. With a strong Christian upbringing, she actively participated in Sunday school, junior usher board and choirs at Metropolitan Baptist Church. First Lady Michele Howard is a faithful servant to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is also a loving and devoted wife for over 30 years, a dedicated mother and grandmother. As she walks alongside her husband, she efficiently helps in the church in whatever capacity, always willing to assist and lend a helping hand. Her role as a first lady is like none other. She is a down to earth jovial and balanced woman of God.

She just does not sit to be waited on; she will help wherever help is needed. She serves faithfully, providing love and loyal support to her husband as he works tirelessly in the ministry. First Lady Michele enjoys serving as a helpmeet to her husband’s vision of ministry and strives to join him in his efforts to please God. She received her Missionary license under the leadership of the Late Pastor and Founder Pastor Otha Howard. She serves in several capacities of ministry to include Women’s Department, Praise Team, Outreach Department, Inspirational and Women’s Choir Director, and After School Homework ministry. As First Lady, Michele continues along this Christian journey, she is often heard saying “But God”, she is a living testimony to the healing power of God. Having gone through brain surgery several years ago, she often testifies that it was nothing but God who took her into the surgery and brought her out of the surgery.

In her private time, First Lady Michele Howard works a full time job for Milwaukee Public Schools as an educator, where she has been employed for over 29 years. She is the proud mother of eight beautiful children (Lakisha, Taya, Kamesha, Romale, Sydney, Leticia, Deon, and Calvin, Jr.). She is also a proud grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, but above all fulfilling the will of God is her main purpose.

First Lady Michele’s much loved scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thing heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
